Glary Utilities is free system utilities to clean and repair registry, defrag disk, remove junk files, fix PC errors, protect privacy, and provides more solutions to other PC problems. Utils2ak is my primary package of utilities. This is the December 23, 2020 release. Included: dbping.ec - Tests connections and reports connection time as well as the actual host. Glary Utilities Free version is listed under System category and it requires 16.43MB free disk storage to install.
We were very surprised to find a freeware utility like Glary Utilities which did so much without having the nag the user to upgrade to a full version. Though Glary Soft *does* also sell a 'Pro' version, the current freeware offered does a great job of checking your system for temporary files, registry errors, wrong paths and a very basic spyware scanner.
The idea behind Glary Utilities is simple. It checks your computer for Registry Errors, Invalid Shortcuts, Dangerous Startup Programs, Temporary Files, Spyware and finally can clean up your tracks on the Internet like temporary files, cookies and history.
In addition to provides these free tools into one simple download, it also offers links to other Windows settings under its Modules interface. We found the memory optimizer a great addition to a very well done program. The Registry Defrag is also a very nice addition.
Please note that the freeware version of Glary Utilities for free only for private use and companies wishing to take advantage of the great set of functions of this download will have to purchase the Pro version available on Glary Soft's web site.
One last thing to note is the duplicate files finder under the Modules tab which scans your computer for certain types of files (ie. Movies, Music, etc) for duplicates which may be hogging up disk space. In our tests, the duplicate files found by Glary Utilities were mainly those shared by programs across Windows user accounts, so you might want to be careful when deleting them.

I really like the Remote Utilities application. It's easy to use and the free version has a lot of features that many other remote desktop utilities lack. Best of all you get 10 connections with the free version. Meaning you don't really need to buy a license. You can use remote install to build a MSI and install on a PC then remote in, handle your business, and when you're done remove the device from your 'contacts'. If you ever need to get in to the PC again, the agent is already installed. Just re-add it as a 'contact'.
